VINICOLA BENANTI’S NEW ENOLOGIST
The historical Sicilian winery, Vinicola Benanti, will cooperate with the young enologist Michele Beàn, after a long collaboration with Salvo Foti.
From the beginning of the year, the technical management of the cellar was entrusted to the Friulian enologist Michele Beàn who has more than ten years of experience in Italy, Eastern Europe and the United States of America.
"The decision to entrust an enologist with such a significant experience like Michele Beàn, demonstrates the maturity that Vinicola Benanti has reached, enabling the company to express its own philosophy and to focus on young talent." Explains Cavaliere Benanti.
"The principal role of an enologist is to collect the expressive capacity of the Terroir on one side and on the other side to share the philosophy and vision of a producer like Giuseppe Benanti. I am committed to continue the excellent work done by Salvo Foti, enriching it with my experiences, accrued in different territories and companies combining the Benanti-Thinking with the Beàn-Thinking." Says Michele Beàn.
Beàn has been operating throughout Italy and in several foreign countries. Some of the companies he worked for are Vino Budimir in Serbia, David Feresin, Talis and Tenuta Blasig in Friuli Venezia Giulia. He has been working in Sicily for a while. Following his experience with Cottanera, now he is a consultant for La Moresca in San Michele di Ganzaria, Cos and Wiegner.
